If you need to give an email address to a business, use a throw away email address and definitely use an email address that Facebook does not have.
For Store loyalty cards, just lie. Give them a fake phone number and email address. Or do not use them and pay cash.
Facebook plus on and offline retailers have become unbelievably invasive. Almost no one was aware that Facebook is a giant Orwellian 1984 spying apparatus.
Since 2013, Facebook has partnered with Axciom, Datalogix and Epsilon to integrate your offline shopping purchases with the Facebook database dossier. Facebook knows what you bought in retail stores too.
The company also tracks your location using a variety of tricks. If the Facebook, Instagram or Messenger apps are on your phone, they use those to track your location. But even if you do not have those apps, they may seek alternative ways to track you offline, such as using web trackers and your IP address:
