Oxfam issues its annual report on global wealth inequality, but this time, many notice that its methodology is garbage, designed to produce a specific outcome for citation in propaganda campaigns. Specifically, many U.S. university graduates with good paying jobs, nice apartments, cars, smart phones, cable TV and Internet access are identified as among the poorest people on earth. Really?

The company also agrees to establish a Board of Directors committee on privacy compliance and for Mark Zuckerberg to be held responsible for assuring compliance.

When “news” services run “news stories” containing a lengthy list of Amazon Prime Day specials and links to Amazon, is this news? No, its apparently turning “news” into “spam”. It’s possible that “news” is now being funded by affiliate links embedded in stories (very likely), but what ever this is – its not news!
