I am so old, I remember when newspapers were bastions of free speech and expression

I am not a fan of any politicians (100% of politicians lie most of the time). But should a newspaper advocate for censoring them? The answer to speech you do not like has always been more speech.

Authoritarian or totalitarian regimes engage in outright censorship – yet here we are – the Washington Post is advocating for censoring speech. Traditionally, newspapers were advocates for free speech – now they are advocates for censorship. Interesting.
