Twitter posted this after shutting down the President’s personal Trump account and purging tens of thousands of accounts[1].

Last fall, Twitter censored and suspended the nation’s 4th largest and one of the oldest newspapers in the U.S. for article content that Twitter, alone, decided was misinformation. The article content turned out be true and its acquisition had not violated any laws.

The conclusion is that Twitter is secretly announcing it has become a satire site, a parody of Twitter itself 🙂

[1] If I were in charge, I probably would have shut down Trump’s account too. I had seen his video clip before it too was censored – the absolute wrong thing for a leader to say in the midst of a violent insurrection. However, its hard to argue you support freedom of expression when, empirically, you do not.
