ITV showed a picture allegedly showing before and after the pandemic effects on atmospheric clarity.

In fact, both photos are provably identical, with one photoshopped to obscure the background and make it look like the “before lockdown” photo.

Fast forward to see what they did and see why this is a provable media lie.

This is an example of how not to do climate communications. Straight up lying destroys the messaging completely and causes people to not believe anything from the media, climate science or even science itself. This is highly destructive propaganda messaging.
