Facebook’s censors are digging deep — flagging the word “hoe” in a western New York gardening group because they apparently confused the tool for a disparaging term for women.

This is yet another example of why Facebook’s much vaunted use of “AI” to handle censorship is a failure and will always be a failure.

Indeed, social media is becoming much more a platform for censorship than the spread of propaganda.
