Misleading headline: During WWII, getting the flu vaccine was patriotic. Some no longer view science that way

The influenza vaccine was not available to the general public until after the end of World War II. The early vaccines were given to military service members during WW II.

Reminder: Get vaccinated for Covid-19 and influenza, this fall, if you can and have not yet done so.
