Classic media manipulation of your viewpoint – SF Chronicle had to rewrite headline and replace photo illustration
San Francisco Chronicle, October 23, 2021 – title emphasizes “winter COVID surge is coming”, illustrates with a photo of a hospital ward in Europe:
October 26, 2021 – exact same story, but revised with new title and new photo showing kids in a classroom.
The SF Chronicle initially spun the story as more bad news, the usual negativity.
It appears the Chronicle did respond to comments from the authors.
