Zuckerberg blames “selectively leaked documents” for Facebook’s ugliness

Then why not release all the documents to prove these are selective?

“My view is that what we are seeing is a coordinated effort to selectively use leaked documents to paint a false picture of our company,” Zuckerberg said after the company’s quarterly earnings report earlier this week.

Bottom line: The employees recognize the problems and view the name “Facebook” as a hindrance to the company. Young people have stopped using Facebook and are also no longer signing on with Instagram due to its association with Facebook. Hence, Facebook will rename the company to Meta so that it will be “Instagram by Meta” instead of “Instagram by Facebook” – assuming people can not figure out that its still the same people.

Facebook has also announced it will turn Instagram into a TikTok clone. In recent weeks they seemed to be experimenting by putting all the videos to the top of the feed – had to scroll down many pages to get to the still photos. As Instagram converts itself into a TikTok clone, I will likely end up leaving Instagram as I prefer still photos there, over videos.
