Click bait headline generators

Click bait headline generators

If you use news aggregators such as Bing or Google, you frequently see headlines written with words like “this” or “just now” – but which fail basic journalism practice of having the headline properly introduce the story.

The purpose is click-bait – to get you click through. In this case, and most of them, they only present a paragraph of the story on each page – you are supposed to click through multiple page. These are ad revenue generators, not news sites.

I ignore them completely. If the headline does not tell me what the story is about, I know it is click bait and not worth my time.

And oh, what is banned at some airports? 5G cellular networks (not handsets) operated by Verizon and others because they interfere with ground proximity distance measuring radar on commercial aircraft.
