Media: Journalists have never heard of a non-disclosure agreement or NDA

Elon Musk has reportedly given Twitter staff until 5 p.m. Saturday to respond to an email he sent and pledge not to leak internal information about the company to the media.

Journalist Zoe Schiffer of Platformer tweeted out the Musk missive which comes despite the Twitter CEO’s public push for free speech and transparency.

I have worked at numerous high-tech companies. All of them required signing an NDA as a condition of employment. Nearly every meeting we had with representatives of other companies was done under NDA and required participants to sign the NDA agreement.

Now, idiot journalists seem to think NDAs have never existed and that employees should be free to leak all internal secrets.

And another reporter has gone down the same path, oblivious to why NDA’s exist. What an idiot.

As made clear by the comments to the above report, everyone except reporters understands the purpose of an NDA. Reporters are apparently morons. Yet view themselves as far smarter than everyone else.
