This morning I had an email to “Lily Collins”, someone else’s photo, but to my email address, telling me that the account had been suspended due to a violation of community rules.

My account has been completely deleted. I had 2FA set up on the account as well. I never received any emails advising of odd logins or changes to the account. The above is the only notice I received. Clearly, the account was hacked in spite of Facebook’s lame security measures.

I have tried to use their account recovery feature, but it doesn’t work.

I have sent direct messages to FB on Twitter and to support@facebook.com.

I doubt I will hear anything back from them and must accept that my account, since 2011, is gone for good. I also managed a programming group with about 2,000 members. All of that is now gone.

Facebook doesn’t care because we are the product. Losing one user means nothing to them.
