BBC Reporter makes fool of himself while interviewing Elon Musk

Watch this video clip with Elon Musk interviewed by James Clayton for the BBC.

The unprepared reporter makes a fool of himself. He says hate speech has increased on Twitter. When asked by Musk to define hate speech and give an example, the reporter is unable to cite a single example of hate speech.

Embarrassed, the reporter finally says, “Let’s move on” and then says, let’s cover Covid misinformation. The reporter backs off when Musk points out that the BBC prohibited discussing vaccine side effects or problems with masking … and took its reporting direction from the government.

The reporter, who by this time has demonstrated he is a buffoon says once gain, “Let’s talk about something else…”

This is “journalism”.

This interview did not go over well for James Clayton:

Most of the media ignored this story since media looks bad. The media is not accustomed to being questioned in the way they question everyone else.

Don’t say silly things when interviewing a guy who builds space ships, electric cars, a satellite network, neural networks and burrows tunnels under cities for a new kind of metro transportation system. Oh, and he owns a popular social media platform too.
